Felicia "Lisa" L. (Shaw) Clayton was born November 14, 1963 in Borger, Texas to Helen Marie (Marchman) and Frank Lee Shaw. She passed away December 22, 2014 in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 8 days.

Lisa moved to Woodward, Oklahoma with her family when she was 3 and remained there through the 6th grade. She then moved to Elk City where she graduated from Elk City High School in 1982. Lisa continued her education at Sayre Junior College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1987. After graduating, Lisa moved to Plano, Texas in 1988 where she was employed with Maybelline Cosmetics.

Lisa returned to Elk City and was married to Eddie Adkerson in 1990. Son Jordan was born in 1991 and daughter Lynzee was born in 1997. She later lived in Duncan, Oklahoma and Allison, Texas before she moved to Salina, Kansas. While in Salina, Lisa met Nick Clayton, who she married on August 22, 2009 in Elk City, Oklahoma. After Nick was hired by NASA, he and Lisa moved to Virginia in 2010 where she resided until the time of her death. No matter where life took Lisa she always remained a texasgrl@hart.

Lisa was involved in her children's activities as they grew. Jordan was active in baseball and showing pigs. She was active at Zion Baptist Church in Parksley, Virginia where she was a Sunday School teacher. She served as Girl Scout leader for Troop 1456 of the Girl Scouts of Chesapeake Bay as well as Service Unit Manager. She enjoyed attending softball and basketball games and was daughter Lynzee’s biggest cheerleader. Lisa loved her Cowboys, Oklahoma State and Dallas.

Lisa was also an avid dealer for Pampered Chef and Scentsy. She organized multiple fundraisers for local schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Marie and Frank Lee Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, Nick, of the home; 2 children, Jordan Adkerson, Elk City, OK and Lynzee Adkerson, Melfa, VA; a stepdaughter, Nicole Irene Bernat, Front Royal, VA; a step granddaughter, Kelly Tarmon, her sisters and brothers, Francine Brittain, Houston, TX, Freida Weir and husband, Larry, Sharon, OK, Franka Watson and husband, Clark, Sentinel, OK, Frank Lee "Bo" Shaw, Jr. and wife, Nadine, Chickasha, OK, Bud Shaw, Elk City, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
