Winifred Nora Bailey passed from this life on Monday morning, August 23, 2021, in Elk City, OK, at the age of 87.

Winifred was born March 30, 1934, to her parents Marion Anderson Helton and Emma Enora (Gifford) Bullock in Lawton, OK. Winifred was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and 2 daughters. There was nothing more satisfying to her than loving and caring for her husband and family. She was a rare individual that loved her title in life as caretaker.

Winifred is survived by her 2 daughters: Verna (Chris) Jespersen of Abingdon, Virginia, and Liz George of Manhattan, Montana; 10 grandchildren: Mark (Erin) Jespersen, Michael (Danna) Jespersen, Monika (Jamie) Weigand, Amanda Day, Matthew (Ashley) Jespersen, Emily (Chris) Vigness, Angela Jespersen, Ryan George (Jasmine Hall), Caleb (Paulina) George, Avery George; 17 great grandchildren, and many other family members all of whom she was quite proud and loved very much.

Winnie is preceded in death by her parents, her dearest friend and husband, Asa “Bo” Bailey, baby daughter, Sheila, one baby granddaughter, Jessica, one baby grandson, Gabriel, and her son in law, Dan George.
