Van Edward Wright, Jr. was born October 27, 1949 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Clare Mary (Karl) and Van Edward Wright Sr. He passed away May 25, 2018 at Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years 6 month and 28 days.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Van, Sr. and Clare Wright, 1 brother, Jim Wright.
 

He is survived by his brother, David Wright, Plano, TX; sister-in-law, Julie Ashford and husband, Walter, Oklahoma City, OK; 4 nephews, Greg Wright and wife, Becky, Seattle, WA, Kevin Wright, Vista, CA, Jason Wright and wife, Amanda, Yukon, OK and Jared Wright and wife, Katie, Oklahoma City, OK and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
 

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
