Lola Mae (Meadows) Wisecarver was born September 25, 1930 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Mamie C. (Brock) and Earl H. Meadows. She passed away September 6, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 12 days.
 

Lola attended schools in Eldorado and Merritt, Oklahoma. On August 5, 1952 she was married to Rex Erwin Wisecarver in Sayre, Oklahoma. They made their home in Elk City since 1966. Lola was employed at the Elk City Ice and Locker Plant. She was also a member of the Grandview Assembly of God in Elk City and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Christina "Chrissy" Rogers and 2 brothers, Joe Franklin Meadows and Charles Junior Meadows.


She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Rogers and husband, Glenn, Elk City, OK; 1 granddaughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Rogers, Elk City, OK; 1 great grandson, Jaxon Rogers, Elk City, OK; 2 sisters, Edna Earle Brady, Marlow, OK and Shirley Dean Alexander, Elk City, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Wilma Fender, Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.
