Services for William Darrel Weaver, 1520 E. Third, Elk City, were conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, September 5, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Albert C. Trent and Bro. W.R. Craig officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Mr. Weaver was born February 1, 1927, near Duke and died in the Community Hospital September 1, 1978 at the age of 51. They had lived at Hammon, Oklahoma City; and Arvin, California, and had made their home in Elk City the past 19 years. He was a self employed mechanic; a member of the East side Church of Christ and had served in the Army in World War II. Survivors besides his wife are a son, Keith of the home; three daughters, Linda Campbell, Hobart, Oklahoma, Sharon Bell, Oklahoma City, and Juanita Weaver of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Weaver, Sayre; one brother, J A. Weaver, Hammon; two sisters, Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Weaver, Sayre; one brother J. A. Weaver, Hammon; two sisters, Vela Mae Ezell, Sayre, and Alena Rose of Strong City, also two grandchildren, Renee Bell, Oklahoma City and William Campbell, Hobart, Oklahoma.
