Deanna Caryn Elgin was born June 11, 1966 in Los Angeles, California to Rean and Patrick Lackey. She passed away August 25, 2014 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 48 years, 2 months and 14 days.

Deanna grew up in Ducor, California and attended school at Porterville High School. After graduation in 1984, she was married and continued to further her education at a junior college in the Porterville, California area. After her children were born she moved to the Modesto area where she was a homemaker and certified nurses assistant (CNA). In 2008, Deanna along with her family moved to Elk City to be closer to her family. Shorty after arriving in Elk City she met Scott Lee and over the years their love grew and they were to be married soon. Deanna had a love for music and also enjoyed crossword puzzles, horses, embroidery, reading, writing and cross-stitching.

Deanna was also a member of the Sentinel Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby O'Brien Lackey.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Lee, Elk City, OK; 4 children, Marie Elgin and husband, Juan Acosta, Elk City, OK, Thomas Elgin, Elk City, OK, Lyndsie Musick and husband, Taylor, Sayre, OK, Breanna Elgin, Elk City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Dustyn, Natalie, Nicole, Daniel, Sophia, Faith and Nynah, her parents, Patrick and Rean Lackey, Elk City, OK; sister, Lisa Green and husband, Bruce, Porterville, CA; brother, Ray Lackey and wife, Ronni, Genoa, CO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
