Private interment for Cullen Howard Barham will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Ringer officiating.

The service will be live streamed on the Marshall Funeral Home Facebook Page.

Cullen Howard Barham, son of Clinton Ray and Gradie Colene (Sparks) Barham, was born December 26, 1961, in Elk City, Oklahoma, and passed away March 12, 2021, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Cullen graduated from Elk City High School with the Class of 1980. He was active in FFA where he showed cattle. He was a very talented instrumentalist and vocalist. He held first chair French horn throughout his band career and was a member of mixed choir and show choir. He played piano, guitar, self-taught the banjo, and every brass instrument in the band. A member of First Baptist Church in Elk City, Cullen participated in youth choir and attended many choir trips. He attended OSU Tech at Okmulgee, Oklahoma, in the diesel mechanics program. He also completed undergraduate credit at then Sayre Junior College. Cullen occupied himself with small engine repair, custom wheat harvest, finish carpentry, and farm/ranch work.

He loved nature, his animals, gardening and his buddies. Cullen willingly shared whatever he had with anyone that needed it. He embodied the true meaning of peace and love. Cullen is in "the place that's the best, that Spirit in the sky."

Cullen is survived by his parents, Clinton Ray and Gradie Colene Barham of Alva; sister, Lizabeth Richey of Alva; two nieces: Andrea Crawford, husband Corey, and their children, Caitlyn, Chloe, Kennedy, Cason, and Charlee Rae, and Michelle Newton, husband Tim, and their children, Elijah, Samuel, Thomas, Isabella, and Ezekiel; one nephew, Chad Richey of Watauga, Texas; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Creature Concerns or the Alva Food Bank.
