David Lynn Adams was born September 10, 1962 in Elk City, Oklahoma.

David was a 1980 graduate of Elk City High School and earned his auto mechanic certificate from Western Technology Center in Burns Flat. He worked many years in the oil patch and as a long-haul trucker all across the United States. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sentinel, Oklahoma.

Family surrounded David when he departed for heaven on January 9, 2016.

He is survived by his two daughters, Whitley and Lilly; his father and mother, Don and Glena Adams of Elk City; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Cathy Adams of Edmond; a sister, Tammy Merz, Canute; three nieces and one nephew and a host of relatives and friends.
