Longtime Sayre resident, Mr. Jose (Joe) Baldemar Vidaurri passed from this life into eternity December 29, 2021, at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 9 days in Muskogee, OK.  Joe was born November 20, 1943, to his parents Policarpio and Petra (Moreno) Vidaurri in Mathis, TX.
      
Joe as everyone knew him was a wonderful man.  He and Mary (Armida) were married November 13, 1965.  They then moved to Sayre in 1974 to make their home and raise their children.  Joe was a faithful member of The Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Sayre, OK.  Joe loved to keep busy mowing lawns, working at the fertilizer plant, and following the migrant harvest, picking tomatoes in Florida to sugar beets in Nebraska. His greatest love was his family and his Chevy truck.
 
Joe is survived by his wife:  Mary (Armida) Vidaurri of the home, 2 daughters:  Laurie Fairless of Sayre, OK, and Ashley Carli of Cordell, OK; 5 brothers:  Capo, Robert, and Eligio Vidaurri of Sayre, OK, Eloy Vidaurri of Florida, Eugenio Vidaurri of Texas; 4 sisters:  Lucy and Bea Vidaurri of Sayre, Ok, Otilia Chavez of Sayre, OK, Cruz Estrada of Elk City, OK; as well as a host of longtime friends, neighbors, and church family.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents.
