Lula Belle (McKinsey) Fetty

Lula Belle Fetty was born on January 25, 1903 in Silex, Missouri and
passed January 5, 1992 in the Sayre Memorial Hospital at the age of 88
years, 11 months and 11 days.

Lula moved with her parents, Drew and Emmer McKinsey, to Sayre. They later
moved to the Rose Hill community and Lula married Bert Hason Fetty on
February 9, 1921 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. They lived in the Rose Hill and
Dempsey communities before moving west of Sayre, Oklahoma in December of
1957 to make their home. She was a member of the Sayre Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, grandson, 4
brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by 5 daughters and sons-in-law. Della and Sumner Bangs of
Truth or Consequence, New Mexico, Eunice anb Jack Broyles of Grass Valley,
California, Pauline and Don McFarland of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Juanita
and Bobbie Morrow of Arroyo Grande, California; Reta and John Wells of
Reydon, Oklahoma; 1 son, Delbert of Sayre; 2 sisters, Ina Joannsen of
Davenport, Iowa, Essie Mudd of Monroe City, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 39
great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

Services were held in the Sayre Church of Christ, Wednesday, January 8,
1992 at 3:00 p.m. with Randy Kea officiating. Interment was in the Sayre-
Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral
Service of Sayre.
