Dorothy Arnold was born February 20, 1928 in Ft. Coffee, Oklahoma to Elizabeth and Samuel Broughton. She passed away March 17, 2017 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years and 27 days. 

Dorothy moved with her family to Corcoran, California as a young child. She met and was later married to Kenneth LeRoy Arnold in Corcoran. They lived in California and Oregon and Dorothy raised her family. After Kenneth retired, they moved to Thayre, Missouri, living there for a several years until moving to Oklahoma to be near family and they made their home in Sayre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, 6 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by 3 sons,  Kenneth LeRoy Arnold and wife, Betty, of Ft. Smith, AR, Howard LeRoy Arnold and wife, Susan, of Sayre, OK and Eugene LeRoy Arnold of Sayre, OK; 3 grandchildren, Tanyia McGill and husband, Kris, of Ft. Smith, AR, Eugenia LeeAnn Arnold of Cleveland, TN and Tina Marie Kennedy and husband, Justin, of Elk City, OK; 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister, Alene, of Ashville, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
