Harold Joe Wilcox "Joey", Jr. was born February 10, 1959 in St. Francis, Kansas to Angelina and Harold Joe Wilcox, Sr. He passed away July 7, 2017 at Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 27 days.

Joey graduated in Mississippi from Magee High School. He worked in the oilfield in Texas before moving to Oklahoma. In the early 1980's, he made Carter his home. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator an helped in the construction of Remington Park as well as many bridges, roadways and oilfield locations across the state. He also spent time in Kuwait helping battle oilfield fires.

He loved his Catholic Faith and had a soft heart for caring for stray cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, Joseph Franklin Wilcox.

He is survived by his sister, Deborah Hudson and husband, Ronnie Joe, of Crystal Springs, MS; a brother, John Matthew Wilcox, Magee, MS; 2 nieces, Hillary Goulding and husband, Tim, and Cameron Ridgway and husband, Jack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
