Nellie Stroud Blansett of Camarillo, California was born on July 28, 1895 and passed from this life on May 8, 1984 at the age of 88 years old.

Preceding her in death were her husband, James Blanscet and one son, Elmer Blanscet.

Surviving are 3 daughters: Ellen Cunningham, Amarillo, Texas; Madge Duke, Dalhart, Texas; Juanita Pins, Somis, California; 3 sons, Marshall Blanscet, Bakersfield, California; Thomas Blanscet and Paul Blanscet, both of Camarillo, California; 1 sister, Faye Wells, Pampa, Texas; 2 brothers, George Stroud, Sayre, Oklahoma and Dewitt Stroud, Pampa, Texas; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, May 14, 1984 at 10:00 a.m. in the N. S. Griggs Pioneer Chapel, Amarillo, Texas with Assoc. Pastor Mr. Paul Sneed, Amarillo, Texas and Mr. Eddie Beard, Sayre, Oklahoma officiating. Burial followed in Carter Cemetery, Carter, Oklahoma.
