Joshua Wendell Beeson was born December 4, 1981 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Bonnie Gayle and Gary Lynn Beeson and passed away May 4, 1998 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Center at the age of 16 years, 5 months.

Josh lived in Canute, Clinton and Custer City before moving with his parents to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 1995.

Josh was a freshman in Cheyenne High School. He loved working on his truck with his Dad.

He was an artist and loved hard rock.

He is survived by his parents Gary and Bonnie Beeson, Cheyenne; and one sister Linda Beeson of the home; maternal grandmother Josephine Lambert of Sayre, Oklahoma; and maternal grandfather Gordon Lambert of Elk City, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents Mayrene and Don Carey of Sayre, Oklahoma; paternal great grandparents A. J. and Velma Reeves formerly of Berlin; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Services were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday May 7, 1998 at the Sayre First Baptist Church officiated by Terrell Rombnerg.

Interment was in the Carter Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
