Victoria Rangel Valenzuela was born December 23, 1949 in St. Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico to Justina (Damas) Rangel and Cristino Rangel Chacon. She passed away December 7, 2018 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Victoria grew up in Santa Barbara and Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico where she attended school. She attended a vocational school to obtain training as a seamstress. Victoria spent a brief time in Los Angeles, California before returning to Mexico where she met and was eventually married to Aurelio Valenzuela in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 27, 1971. After their marriage they made their home in Mexico where they raised their daughters. In 1982 they moved to Elk City, Oklahoma where Victoria worked alongside her husband at Holder's Greyhound Farms. She also was employed by Lupes Restaurant, GPRMC - The Grill and Portabello's Restaurant. Victoria had a strong work ethic and it was only ill health that forced her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, sewing, watching her novelas, having coffee with her friends, going on shopping trips and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Catalina Lucero and Socorro Sanchez and 1 brother, Miguel Rangel and 2 infant brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Aurelio, of the home; 4 daughters, Julia Valenzuela, Elk City, OK, Elizabeth Hernandez and husband, Demetrio, Elk City, OK, Lupita Valenzuela, Edmond, OK and Juanita Cunningham and husband, Brett, Oklahoma City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Daniel Hernandez and wife, Ivon, Camila Hernandez, Cristino Valenzuela, Jose Hernandez, Mateo Cunningham; 2 sisters, Maria Saenz and Yolanda Quintero; 2 brothers, Jose Luis Rangel and Pedro Cristino Rangel; American grandmother, June Holder and a host of other relatives and friends.
