Donnie Ray Green was born November 28th, 1956 in Gruver, Texas to Edna Yvonne (Carlile) and George Dee Green. He passed away Friday, June 26th, 2026 in Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 29 days.


Donnie grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma where he attended school. He graduated in 1975 and found employment at the filling station in Sayre. Donnie attended truck driving training at the vocational technology school. He was later employed by J.B. Hunt Trucking, Jewit Scott, and finished his 30 year truck driving career with Farmer Supply out of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. During his driving career, every trip was made with his beloved chihuahua, "Rosco". All of Donnie's life, he resided in his hometown of Sayre, Oklahoma and was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church and also served as a deacon. When he wasn't behind the wheel of his semi, Donnie enjoyed car racing, the University of Oklahoma football, building model car kits, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.


He is preceded in death by his parents.


Donnie is survived by his brother, Sammy Green and wife, Irene; nephew, Tyler Hill and wife, Melissa; 2 nieces, Shayla Johnson and husband, Travis and Dazee Green; 5 great nephews, Langston Hill, Cade Hill, Colin Johnson, Orion Vargas and Richard Gloshen; 4 great nieces, Kortney Hill, Emorie Johnson, Averie Vargas, and Hailey Gloshen as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
