BORN:    AUGUST 21, 1914 AT STRINGTOWN, OKLAHOMA TO VIRGIL C. AND PEARL (NELSON) LANSDALE.
 
PASSED AWAY:   WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 1995 AT McALESTER REGIONAL HOSPITAL.
AGE:   80 YEARS 8  MONTHS  AND 5 DAYS.
 
MARRIED:     MR. LANSDALE NEVER MARRIED.
 
OCCUPATION:    RETIRED FARMER. 
 
CHURCH AFFILIATION:    MEMBER OF STRINGTOWN ASSEMBLY OF GOD.
 
MR. LANSDALE WAS AN AVID GARDENER. OR, BY SOME ESTIMATES, A TRUCK FARMER, RAISING ENOUGH VEGETABLES TO SUPPLY MANY NEIGHBORS WITH FRESH HOME-GROWN GARDEN VEGETABLES.  HE WAS, AT ONE TIME, A CRAFTSMAN, MAKING MANY KINDS OF CRAFT ITEMS FOR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, AND RELATIVES. HE ALSO LOVED TO PLAY THE FIDDLE AND HARMONICA.
