Ray Brooks, age 67, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Durant, OK. at 67 years, 11 months and 14 days.

He was born on Tuesday, September 2, 1947, to Raymond and Ruth (Greenwood) Brooks, at Atoka, OK.

He attended Atoka High School and was a city employee and worked for Allen Lumber. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, basketball and baseball.

SURVIVED BY SIBLINGS: Job Bill Greenwood of Atoka, OK Ray Lee Brooks of Atoka, OK Rosemary Brooks of Atoka, OKPatsy Brooks of Atoka, OK Carl William Brooks of Atoka, OK Dina Brooks of Atoka, OK Tim Brooks and wife Wolonde of Atoka, OK AUNT: Delois Greenwood of Atoka, Ok along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY PARENTS: Raymond and Ruth (Greenwood) Brooks GRANDPARENTS: Doc Brooks, Willie Mae Gant, Blanche Greenwood and Henry P. Greenwood AUNTS: Nadine Brooks, Roberta Brown, UNCLE: Leonard Brooks, SIBLINGS: Ruth Brooks and Fred Brooks, NIECES & NEPHEWS: Cecil Orlan Hill Jr. and Ruth Marie Hopkins
