Hayden Ashford, 66, of Boswell, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 1, 2016 in Hugo. He was born on January 18, 1950 to Clifton Haydon and Paralea Arlene (Henry) Ashford, in Atoka, OK.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Browns Funeral Service Chapel in Durant. Reverend Jarred Wright will officiate.


Burial will follow at Folsom Cemetery. Family hour will be held Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
 

Pallbearers will be Terry Henry, Richard Henry, Eugene Woolf, Robert Smith, Blaze Burns, and Bob Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Honeycutt and Johnny Honeycutt
 

Hayden attended Caddo Schools. He was a self-employed plumber that enjoyed helping the elderly. He also liked to watch movies, and loved spending time with his cherished family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
 

Survivors include son, Clifton Ashford and wife, Je’Ann of Boswell; brother Ben Ashford and wife, RayJo of Boswell; sister, Tammy Smith and husband, Jason of Greenville, TX; and numerous nephews.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Nancy Workman
