Triston Carl Paris entered this life on March 11, 1996 in Durant, OK, born to Marion and Jennifer (Ledford) Paris. Triston went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 26, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 20 years, 2 months and 15 days.

 

Triston was a 2014 graduate of Caddo High School. He was attending Murray State College pursuing a degree in Safety. His high school football team, The Caddo Bruins, won the State Football Championship in 2011. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his nephews, Daxdon, and Kinsler and cousin, Jadin. Triston was a member of Armstrong Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Triston is survived by his father, Marion Paris of Coleman and Emily Paris of Durant; his mother, Jennifer Paris and fiancé Bruce Balentine of Durant; sisters, Lindsey Paris Joines, Madison Paris Joines, Hanna Paris, Chloe Paris, and Sophie Paris, all of Durant; grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Paris of Kenefic, Mary Adams of Sherman, TX, Patricia Barker of Durant, and Nancy Blackburn of Durant; aunt, Amy Hedges and husband, Darrell of Sadler, TX; uncles, Jason Ledford and Ryan McCauley; nephews, Daxdon Green, Kinsler Vandevier, and Coy McCauley; cousins, Leah Ledford Beames, Colton Ledford, Jaci Ledford, and Jadin Hedges; and numerous friends and extended family.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Ledford.

 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Caddo High School Gymnasium with Pastor Monty Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill cemetery. Family hour will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Tanner Grace, Rosendo “Reece” Chavez, Aaron Purkins, Garrett Morris, Tanner Mccann, Colton Ledford, R.J. Dixon and Shelby Dellinger; Honorary pallbearers are Jack Wright, Wyatt Wright, Colton Dixon, Jillian Osborn, Jarrett Rowland, Seth White, William Voyles, Hollis Dixon, and Cameron Grace.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made for a scholarship fund in Triston’s name, deposited into his account at Shamrock Bank.

 

Triston will live on forever through Organ Donation.
