Floyd Lee Collins, 72, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away Saturday night September 22, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant. He was born July 11, 1940 in Folsom, Oklahoma to Harold L. and Katherine White Collins. He attended Caddo Schools and was of the Baptist Faith.
He lived in California before returning to the Kenefic / Folsom areas where he lived all his life and was a Dairy Farmer. He was an avid coon hunter and loved to hunt coon with his Brother Harold.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and the Step-Father and Mother who raised him Willie Autry and Katherine Elmira Hicks, an infant Son Floyd Dean, and A Brother Dean Hicks. Surviving is his Brother Harold Collins and wife Kay of Butcher Pen, Sister-in-Law Linda Hicks of Coleman. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
A Graveside Service for Floyd Collins will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday Morning September 26, 2012 at the Center Hill Cemetery in Atoka County with Reverend Mark White officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Davenport, Robert S Davenport, James Phillips, Jesse Hicks, James Hicks, Larry Posey, Dillon Posey and P.J. Gayle.
Family night will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday Evening at Cunningham Funeral Home in Caddo. Condolences may be sent to the family and the register book signed online at cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Caddo, Oklahoma.
