Alla was born in Caney, OK on May 3, 1918, the daughter of Thomas Allen and Lizzie Christine White. She grew up in Caney, OK then spent most of her life in Bartlesville, OK. She was employed at Mataldo's Dress Shop for 14 years and Joe's Drapery Shop for 20 years. Alla had been a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church on Tuxedo since it began. They had eight wonderful years together, before Otis passed away. Alla then moved to Copan, OK to live by her brother and sister-in-law, Dee and Marie White. She lived in Copan for 16 years until her brother passed away. She has lived in Skiatook with her nieces and sister-in-law Marie since then.
Alla was preceded in death by her husband, Otis W. Black, her brothers, Rev. Curtis A. White, Delbert (Dee) White, Thomas A. White, and her sister Mary Walker. Survivors include sister-in-law, Marie White, nieces, Bonnie Gay and husband Terry, Louise Juliano, Evelyn Baker and husband Leroy, Kay Baker, Vickie Blackburn and husband Roy, Shirley Willis and husband Perry, nephews, Bruce White and wife Julia, Ted White and wife Kathy, James White, Jack Walker and wife Thea, Thomas Walker and wife Sharon, Kenneth Walker and wife Dovie, Lonnie Walker and wife Janice.
