Funeral arrangements for Owen R. Pritchard, 92, of Chickasha are pending. Graveside services for Owen R. Pritchard, 92, of Chickasha, formerly of Wapanucka, Oklahoma, were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2007, in the Boggy Depot Cemetery in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, with Bill Pendergrass officiating.
Owen Pritchard was born June 3, 1914, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma the son of Edward and Maggie (Carnes) Pritchard. He died March 1, 2007, in Chickasha.
Owen grew up in the Wapanucka area, and attended the rural schools there. He and Christeen Clowers were married on January 19, 1937, in Atoka, Oklahoma. They made their home in Wapanucka, where they farmed and raised their six children until they moved to Chickasha in 1953.
Owen was employed by the Sate of Oklahoma until his retirement in 1976.
All of his family loved and cherished him so much. He will be deeply missed. Our Lord has received another angel.
Owen was preceded in death by both parents: Edward and Maggie Pritchard; wife, Christeen Pritchard; one brother, Forest Pritchard; one sister, Pocahontas Gann; one son, Robert Pritchard; granddaughter, Tammy Bowen; and two great-grandchildren: Ashley Pritchard and Nicholas Perks.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Gerald and Marietta Pritchard, of Tulsa; and David and Doris Pritchard, of Chickasha; three daughters and sons-in-law: Anita and Frank Ely, of Seminole, Oklahoma; Joyce and Jim McDonald, of Elgin, Oklahoma; Kay and Charles Winburn, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Christeen Pritchard, 82, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at 10 a.m., in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Christeen Pritchard was born July 20, 1921. She died Dec. 2, 2003, in Chickasha.
 

Interment will be Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at 3 p.m. in the Boggy Depot Cemetery in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Christeen Pritchard
July 20, 1921 ~ Dec. 2, 2003

Funeral services for Christeen Pritchard, 82, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Hatfield officiating.
 

Christeen Pritchard was born July 20, 1921, in Bromide, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lee Clowers and Beulah (Dewitt) Clowers. She died December 2, 2003, in Chickasha.
 

Christeen grew up in the Bromide-Atoka area and attended the rural schools there. She married Owen Pritchard on January 19, 1937, in Atoka, and to this union her six children were born. She and her husband farmed and reared their children in the Atoka area until 1953, when the family moved to Chickasha.
 

Christeen was employed as a nurse's aide at Grady Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1987.

She was a member of the Grand Avenue Assembly of God Church in Chickasha. All of the family loved and cherished her so much. She was most loving to her family, and she will be deeply missed. Our Lord has received another angel.
 

Christeen was preceded in death by both parents, Lee and Beulah Clowers; one brother, L. C. Clowers; two sisters: Dovie Sherwood and Velma Morril; one son, Robert Pritchard; one granddaughter, Tammy Bowen; and two great grandchildren: Ashley Pritchard and Nicholas Perks.


Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Gerald and Maritta Pritchard, and David and Doris Pritchard, both of Chickasha; three daughters and sons-in-law: Anita and Frank Ely, of Seminole, OK, Joyce and Jim McDonald, of Fletcher, OK, and Kay and Charles Winburn of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Eldon Sehear, of Casa Grande, AZ; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
 

Interment will be Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 3:30 p.m. in the Boggy Depot Cemetery in Wapanueka, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
