Ada Lena (Eck) Schmidt
The funeral for Ada Lena Schmidt, 95, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Monday at Zoar Mennonite Church, Goltry. The Revs. Garvie Schmidt and Byron Neufeld will officiate. Burial will be in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born June 6, 1912, north of Meno to Frank and Susie Eck and died Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Enid.
She married Lee Schmidt May 10, 1942, in Goltry. He died April 9, 1976. She was a member of Zoar Mennonite Church and a cook at Oklahoma Bible Academy.
Surviving are her children, LaVerna Regier of Henderson, Neb., Lila Janzen of Edmond, and Janice Siemens of Enid; three brothers, Marvin Eck of Watts, Frank Eck of Tulsa and Mahlon Eck of Henderson; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Lee, she was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Zoar Mennonite Church Missions.
