Good Hope Cemetery


Robert M. (Buddy) Kline, 69, 2730 N. Van Buren, died Saturday evening in a local hospital following a long period of ill health.

Service will be at 2 PM Wednesday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The minister of St. Luke's Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery at Helena.

Kline was born August 31, 1910, at Helena, where he graduated from Helena high school in 1928. He married Vala McNabb. She died in October 1951.

Kline and his brother operated dry-cleaning shops in Enid for several years. He later moved to California, and in 1957 he moved back to Helena. In 1962 he married Juanita Burk. The couple made their home in Oklahoma City where he was employed by Durwood Jayroe Right Way Cleaners. For medical purposes, he returned to Enid in April.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita; one son, Marvin, Richardson, Texas; three step – children; five step – grandchildren; four sisters, Vivian Lee, Enid, Mildred Couch, Tuttlle, Marjorie Davis, Helena, and Barbara Cordray, Kingswood, Texas; and one brother, LeRoy, Yukon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
