The funeral for Hazel Kealiher, 87, formerly of Helena, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Helena. The Revs. Jeff Flournoy and Dean Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena.
She was born March 20, 1919, in Collinsville to Henry C. and Estella Watkins and died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, in Wichita, Kan.
She graduated from Lambert High School in 1940. She graduated from General Hospital Nursing School in Enid in 1944. She married Amos Sky Kealiher Jan. 24, 1944. He died April 10, 1994. She was a retired nurse and homemaker. She was a nurse in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas and Arkansas.
Surviving are one brother, John Watkins, and one sister, Ginger Cook, both of El Dorado, Kan.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division, or First Baptist Church of Helena.
