Cherokee Municipal Cemetery

Rose Peterson, 88, died Monday at Alfalfa County Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Eugene Spillman officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Fisher Funeral Home.

She was born October 23, 1904, 3 miles West of Cherokee to H.G. And Louella Williams Frizzell. She attended rural elementary school and graduated from Cherokee High School. She married Ralph Peterson January 3, 1926, in Enid.

She was a lifetime resident of the Cherokee area. She was a member of First Christian Church, Rebekah's, Rural Needlecraft Club and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
