Cherokee Municipal Cemetery

Rites Thursday for Strip Pioneer

Cherokee Services for Reece B. Ingle, 93, will be 3 PM Thursday in the First Methodist church with the Rev. Don Forsman officiating.

Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Hodge Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Ingle died in a local hospital Tuesday morning.

He was born in Tennessee and made the Cherokee Strip Run, settling on a farm Southwest of Cherokee.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ivan Brown, Wichita, Mrs. Vera McGavern and Mrs. Beulah Gardiner, both of Cherokee, a son, Elbert, Oklahoma City.
