Aline Star Cemetery


Graveside services for Mildred M. Tomlin, 80, will be at 10 am Thursday in the Aline Star Cemetery at Aline. Arrangements are by Fisher Funeral Home of Cherokee.

She was born June 27, 1914 in Alfalfa County to Dan and Elizabeth McDowell Elle and died Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital in Enid. She was a lifelong resident of Alfalfa County and graduated from Aline High School.

On October 6, 1934, she married Kenneth Tomlin at Aline. He died December 14, 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church.

Kenneth was born June 26, 1908 and died December 14, 1982. He married Mildred Elle in Aline.

Services were held Friday December 17, 1982 at 10:30 a.m. in the Grapes Funeral Home Chapel in Cherokee, Oklahoma. Rev. Eugene Spillman officiated. Burial was held at the Aline-Star Cemetery in Aline Oklahoma under the direction of Grapes Funeral Home. Casket bearers were Glenn Jenlink, Pat Jenlink, Dwight Smith, Mike Jenlink, Tim Jenlink, and Jim McDonald.

Mildred passed away October 18, 1994 and is also buried in Aline-Star.
