Annie Emiley THOMAS

Aline Star Cemetery

March 10, 1847 - June 13, 1921

Mrs. Annie Thomas, mother of Will Thomas, died at the home of the latter south of McWillie, Monday, June 13, aged 74 years. Funeral services were held yesterday and the body was laid to rest in Aline Cemetery.

For a number of years Mrs. Thomas had been in poor health and failing strength. Just prior to her death she was found semi-conscious in the yard near the house. It is not known how she was stricken as she never recovered sufficiently to tell, but it is presumed she was overcome by dizziness and fell in a faint. The chill, shock and exposure were too much for her feeble strength to withstand and she expired after a brief illness.

Deep sympathy is felt for the saddened family.
