Flora BARNETT TARTER

Aline Star Cemetery


September 27, 1890 - June 8, 1917

Flora Barnett was born September 27, 1890, in Pulaski County Kentucky. Died at her home near Aline , June 8, 1917, aged 26 years, 8 months 13 days.

She moved with her parents to Oklahoma in 1908. Was united in marriage to Austin Tarter October 13, 1909 and to this union were born 5 children, one boy and 4 girls, the infant girl dying at birth and buried with her mother.

At the age of 18, she was converted and united with the Baptist Church and has since lived a true Christian life. She was always a good wife and a loving mother.

She leaves her husband, 4 children, also her Father and Mother, Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Barnett and 4 brothers and 3 sisters of Higgins Texas to mourn their loss.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Root of Waynoka and the body laid to rest in the Eastern Star Cemetery.
