Aline Star Cemetery


JERE LYNN NELSON
A graveside service for Jere Lynn Nelson, 72, of Midwest City, OK., formerly of Enid, OK., will be 10 a.m. today in Aline Star Cemetery. The Rev. Don L. Evans will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena, OK.
He was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Beatrice, Neb., to Fredrick Wilhelm and Hazel Ann Warman Nelson and died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 at his home.
He lived in Ringwood, OK. and Enid, OK. for 42 years before moving to Midwest City, OK. He worked for Platt Pipeline, Koch Oil and Northcutt Chevrolet of Enid. He also trained horses.
He married Jody McNabb June 23, 1969. He was a member of the Masons and the Horseman Association.
Surviving are his wife, Jody, of the home; his children, Gregory Nelson of Ponca City, OK., Mike McNabb of Elk River, MN., Lori Broomfield of Benton, LA., Monica Parham of Midwest City, OK., Jefre McNabb of Enid, OK., Cherie Evans of Casper, WY.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
