Funeral service for Floyd B. McNabb, 77, was at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Helena Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Hicks officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charlie Graves.
Burial was in the Aline Star Cemetery, Aline, OK., with arrangements under the direction of the Kenny Lanman Funeral Home of Helena.
McNabb died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1982, in a Dallas, TX. hospital after a long illness. He was born Oct. 03, 1905 at Aline, OK.
McNabb lived his entire lifetime in the Aline-Helena area where he farmed, later entering the construction business as a carpenter.
He attended Timberview Grade School and Helena High School where he was active in sports. After completing his education at Helena, he played on a semi-pro baseball team.
McNabb is survived by a daughter, Betty Kollman, Garland, TX.; a son, Bill McNabb, Fullerton, CA.; a sister, Leila Bingham, Enid, OK.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family has suggested the Cancer Fund, medical research, as a suitable memorial for McNabb. Those who wish may make contributions through the funeral home.
