Lois Ruth Martin
Enid, OK — The funeral for Lois Ruth Martin, 97, will be 2 p.m. Sept. 18, 2008, at Aline Christian Church. The Rev. Polly Sacket Young will officiate. Burial will be in Aline Star Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wentworth Mortuary, LLC, Carmen.
She was born April 3, 1911, in Crawfordsville, Ind., to Frank and Amy Rush Delano and died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, in Alva.
She graduated from Lambert High School in 1931.
She married Charlie Eugene Martin April 8, 1933, in Carmen. She was a member of Aline Christian Church and Aline Homemaker’s Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Donna Terwort, Alva; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, one son, three brothers and two sisters.
