Lola Jean Jack Lamle was born March 7, 1934 in Anthony, Kansas to Cleon and Vera Jack and grew up in Byron, Oklahoma. She was welcomed to heaven by the Almighty Lord on May 18, 2020. Lola graduated from Carmen High School in 1952 and married John Lamle on April 25, 1952. They recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. Together, they resided in Aline, Oklahoma for more than 60 years. Lola went to beauty school in Enid and enjoyed helping many clients in her home beauty salon. Along with raising five kids, she and her husband also farmed and raised cattle.

Lola was an active member of the United Methodist Church and served as a Sunday School Teacher of all ages, was active in United Methodist Women, and was always active in Vacation Bible School. She displayed her tremendous faith in the Lord not only with words, but with action. She prayed fervently for her children and grandchildren each day, and always prayed they would follow the Lord with their life. Lola was also known for her fabulous meals. No one ever entered her house without hearing, “Can I get you something to eat?”. She fed thousands in her lifetime. It brought her great joy to eat around the table, and the more the merrier. Lola’s love for her family was unending; she was the glue that held the Lamle family together. She will be missed so much. However, her love will live in their hearts forever, even though she has left this earth, her love has not. It will live on through each of us. Love is eternal and never dies.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, Cleon and Vera Jack; her brother, Jackie Jack; her grandson, Jeremy Nelson, and son-in-law, Gerald Hill.

She is survived by her husband, John Lamle; her five kids, Jed Lamle of Aline, Jim Lamle of Aline, Cindy Nelson of Winfield, Kansas, Walter Lamle of Piedmont, and Nita Hill of Bixby. Lola is also survived by her ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her sister, Loreta Green; many nieces; nephews, and friends.

Memorials may be given to the Aline United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
