Funeral services for Maribelle Viers Booze, 77, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Aline Christian Church with Polly Young officiating. Burial will follow in Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc, Helena. Online condolences may be shared with the family at http://www.lanmanmemorials.com/. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.

Maribelle was born Oct. 23, 1930, in Enid to Beulah Swiger and Charlie Viers and died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid.

She graduated from Aline High School in 1948. She married Ernest Dean Booze Feb. 15, 1948, in Cherokee, Okla. They made their home west of Aline. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her four children and being a dedicated wife and loving grandma. She worked diligently and held numerous jobs throughout her life. She worked mainly as the local butcher in her home town grocery store for more than 30 years of her life and always enjoyed preparing sandwiches for the high school kids on their lunch break. Maribelle was a member of Aline Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, La Vene Viers Devereaux; her husband, Dean; her daughter, Marilyn Baker; and her grandson, Shay Viers Wilson.

She is survived by her two sons, Chris Booze and wife Lynn of Cleo Springs and Mark Booze of Cleo Springs; one daughter, Maricarol Wilson and husband Roger of Carmen; six grandchildren, Kendi Baker Wooten and husband Rhett of Carmen, Makayla Booze of Enid, Chrislyn Newton and husband O Ryan of Yukon, Jesse Wilson and Kelly Wyatt of Norman, Amanda Booze of Okarche and Jamie Wilson of Carmen; one great-grandchild, Elizabeth Booze of Drummond; one sister, Georgia McCray of Davenport; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorials may be give to Aline Christian Church through the funeral home.
