Lance Turn, son of Dale and Oneta (Keeter) Turn, born April 12th, 1966 in Tulsa,Ok and passed away from this life October, 17th, 2019 at the age of 53 years, 6 months.

Lance was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and especially looking for arrowheads at his favorite place, the Baron Fork Creek, which runs behind his house. After a good rain you could find him walking up and down the creek busy looking for “the perfect one” and he had amazing luck in finding them.

He was a kind man with a huge heart, always willing to help anybody any way he could. Many people knew he was a person they could count on without fail.


Lance was preceded by his paternal grandparents Andy & Lillie Turn, Maternal grandparents Elco & Velma Keeter, two aunts Elsie Howard, Charlene (Turn) Winkler, and one Uncle Jim Howard.


Left to grieve are his parents, Dale & Oneta Turn, His sister Dana Long, & husband Charles, one brother Michael Winkler, and one Aunt Cathy Turn, his children Eric Turn & Wife Tiffany, Lani Mitchell & husband T.J., Matti Turn, all of Westville, Ok. Dakota, Chyanna, Chooch, Kylee Bobacher, Alexis Ives all from Anderson, Mo. Grandchildren, Emma Ford, Corbin & Lilah Turn, and Kaeson Wilson. He is also survived by a large host of relatives and friends.
 

Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Whitmire Cemetery, Christie, OK with Brianna Smith officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
