Paul L. Vaughn, son of Leonard and Faye (Gaches) Vaughn, was born April 19, 1939 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with his Lord in Heaven on September 17, 2015 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 2 days.

Paul married the love of his life, Cammela, on November 27, 1961.

He served his country for two years in the U.S. Army. He did his basic training in Ft. Carson, Colorado and Ft. Ord, California. Then he served overseas in the 3rd Armor Division at Frankfort, Germany. He was a driver in the 92nd Transportation Company for the Colonels and received an award for 150,000 accident free miles. He also received a Good Conduct Medal and Rifle M-14 Marksman. When he came home from military duty, Paul and Cammela moved to their present location in Chance Community, where they have lived for the past 52 years. That’s where they started their adventure with a few cows, clearing land and planting strawberries. As time passed, the cattle herd grew and Paul spent a lot of his time going to sale barns, buying and selling cattle. He was also a successful businessman, owning and operating the Benton County Sale Barn since 1990.

Paul was a faithful member of the Faith Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Faye Vaughn.

Paul is survived by his wife: Cammela, of the home near Westville, OK, children: Randy Vaughn and wife Renae of Westville, Marty Vaughn and wife Melanie of Jay, FL, Olin Vaughn and wife Donnetta of Umpire, AR, Cammy Whorton and husband Chris of Siloam Springs, AR, Cody Vaughn and wife Aimee of Westville, 10 grandchildren: Paula, Ashlyn, Ryan, Dakota and wife Kacy, Cassie, Lindon, Makayla, Camryn,Jaylen, Kaisen, 2 great grandchildren: Brilee Bell and Adlee Grace, brother: Ray Dean Vaughn and wife Norma of Chandler, OK and a special cousin: James Jennings.

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, Siloam Springs, AR with Bro. Olin Vaughn and Bro. Dennis Knapp officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville
