Aubrey Mae Richards

Aubrey Mae Richards was born August 6, 1919 in Moody, to Euin Vance Hines and Alice Lisenbee Hines.

She departed this live April 27, 2006 in Tahlequah at the age of 86 years, six months and 12 days.
Aubrey and her husband, Vernon "Doc" Richards were united in marriage April 1, 1938 at the Cherokee County Courthouse in Tahlequah, by County Judge William S. Paden.

She was a member of Westville Baptist Church and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church.

As mother and homemaker, she loved to cook and spent time rising vegetables and flowers in her garden.
Her husband, "Doc" Richards preceded her in death on January 17, 1975, along with her parents, Euin and Alice Hines; a son: Kenneth Richards, a granddaughter: Regina Richards; brother: Art Hines, Sister: Margret Reese and a great grandson, Chase Vann.
She is survived by one daughter, Delois Hendrix and husband Johnie, of Proctor, OK; one Son: Jerry Richards, of Bastdrop, TX; one brother: Horace Hines, of Barnsdall, OK; one sister: Isa Savage, of Tahlequah; 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; a special niece, Regina Richards, of Tahlequah, and numerous family and friends.
Graveside services were held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Westville City Cemetery with Chaplain Jerry Henson officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
