Grace Geraldine Goodman, daughter of Albert A. “Son” Goodman and Ida Mae (Choate) Goodman, was born on January 22, 1930 in Copan, Oklahoma and departed this life for her heavenly home on Monday, September 24, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 2 days.
She was a retired grocery store worker. Geraldine was a dedicated and faithful member of Wrights Chapel for many years and later attended the Westville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed attending church and fellowshipping with other believers. Before she became ill, Geraldine was known and loved for her baked goods and embroidery, cross stitch and crochet skills.
Her parents: Albert and Ida Goodman and cousin: Bobby Choate preceded her in death.
Geraldine is survived by nephew: Paul Gentry and wife Vi, cousins: Elizabeth Bailey of Westville, OK, Inez Peace and husband Wilson, Duane Choate and wife Vickie, all of Tahlequah, OK, Darrell Choate of Westville and Fred Holland of Bartlesville. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services at 2 pm on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Roberts & Hart Chapel with Bro. Navil Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
