Mrs. R. Y. (Alta) Ellis

Funeral rites for Mrs. R. Y. (Alta) ELLIS, 79, recently of Baron will be held today, Friday, at 2 p.m. in Roberts Funeral Chapel. Mrs. ELLIS, who following the death of Mr. ELLIS, November 6, 1962, accompanied her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude SLOAN, home in Loveland, Colorado, with whom she was to make her home. After a brief illness, she died December 30, 1962.
Mr. and Mrs. ELLIS were pioneer residents of the Westville and Baron communities, Mrs. ELLIS until her failing health, several months ago did not permit, was correspondent for the Westville Record and since for the Westville Reporter.
Interment will be in the Westville Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eula WRIGHT of Tulsa, Mrs. Gertrude SLOAN, Loveland, Colorado, Mrs. Neva COLEBURN, of Labrador; four sons, Robert ELLIS of Stilwell, Reece ELLIS, Stockton, Calif., Bill ELLIS, Albuquerque, N. Mex., Joe ELLIS, with U.S. Navy stationed in Norfolk and 14 grandchildren.
