Shirley Ann (Kelley) Tibbit , daughter of Elbert (Byrl) and Maggie Waters Kelley was born November 2, 1936 and departed this life on July 17, 2011 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 15 days.

Shirley graduated from Stilwell High School and worked at a clerk in her parents’ business, Kelley’s Department Store and later was secretary for the First Christian in Stilwell. She enjoyed her family and friends and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stilwell.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Byrl and Maggie Waters Kelly.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children: Karen Dotson and husband David of Stilwell, OK; Gary Tibbit and wife Donell of Stilwell, OK; Debbie Smith and husband Rick of Pocola,OK.
Eight grandchildren: Adam David Allen and wife Annette of Franklin, Ind; Amanda Catherine Yates and husband Robert of Sherwood, AR; Rebecca Lee Tibbit and companion Jeremy Ingram of Evansville AR; Matthew Tibbit and wife Kelsey of Prairie Grove, AR; Delana Vann and husband Mike of Woodall, OK; Jerod Neale and companion Candice Hopkins of Stilwell, OK; Gayla Neale of Pocola, OK; Kaitlin Ellis and companion Eric Grim of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by her brother: Byrl David Kelley and wife Rosalee of Tulsa, OK and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all her relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at First Christian Church, Stilwell, Ok with Kevin Spurlock officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
