William Frank Thompson, 77, a native of Stilwell, died Friday, July 11 at his home in Stilwell.

Thompson, born May 24, 1892, in Stilwell, is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Stand Thompson of the home; four sons, Frank H., Orval and Jess Thompson, all of Stilwell, and Vernon Thompson, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Ruth Rutherford, Tulsa, and Caroll Stevens, Okinawa; four sisters, Mary Lee, Ola Holland and Oma Patton, all of Stilwell, and Ruby Mitchell, Sutherlin, Oregon; six brothers, Bob Thompson, Claremore, Bud Thompson, Tulsa, Leonard and Roy Thompson, both of Stilwell, Joe Thompson, Newport, Rhode Island, and Cleo Thompson, California; and three stepsons, including Jack Wright of Stilwell.

Services were held Monday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Brother Arthur Essary officiating.

Interment was in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
