Patsy Maxine Dornbrack-Thompson daughter of Joe Leondis and Lucy Faye (Padgett) Charles was born December 2, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on October 15, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Pat attended high school at the Wyandotte and Chilocco Indian Schools. She later attended the Fayetteville Beauty School where she got her Beauticians License. She continued to practice for many years as a beautician. She loved to cook, gardening, flowers and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Lucy Charles, 1 brother; Willard Charles and 2 husbands; Robert Dornbrack and Gene Thompson.
Pat is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Trish Chandler and husband Sam of Stilwell, OK, Gary Dornbrack of Stilwell, OK and companion Amy Keeling of Van Buren, AR, 4 grandchildren; Lance Lingle and wife Zeynep of Istanbul, Turkey, Kristi Smith and husband Scotty of Westville, OK, Stephanie Stacks and husband Jeff of Stilwell, OK, Samantha Herbert and husband Budge of Heavener, OK, 6 great grandchildren; Breanna and Chandler Smith of Westville,OK, Chanae Larrit Stacks of Stilwell,OK, Lute and Korley Beth Herbert of Heavener, OK. Siblings; Farris Charles and wife Dixie of Park Hill, OK, Jody McNiel of Tahlequah, OK, Don Charles and wife Laveda of Claremore, OK, Carol McKee of Muskogee,OK, Sandy Charles of Okmulgee,OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. AudieVaughan officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
