Submitted by: Martha Real

Marie Olive was born April 14, 1923, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Lilburn and Rosa (Howell) Treat and went home to be with her Savior and Lord on January 31, 2013, at the age of almost 90 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raleigh Olive, Sr. and two sons, Raleigh Olive, Jr. and Terry Olive.
She temporarily leaves behind to miss her, one son, Richard Olive; two daughters, Fern and Ronnie Johnson and Joyce and Jimmy Horn, all of Stilwell. Two brothers, three sisters, 13 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren also survive her. Marie loved the Lord and her family. She raised a large garden and shared the produce with all she knew. She loved to travel. She was proud to be able to say she had been in all 50 states and had even been on a trip to Europe.
Alzheimer’s has had Marie chained for 2 ½ years. But now she has broken the chains. She is now singing and shouting praises to Jesus and is walking on the streets of gold. Hallelujah! We love you, Mama!
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
