December 9, 1934-October 13, 2007
Betty Louise Longshore daughter of Lee and Dora C. (Walkingstick) Ford was born December 9, 1934 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on October 13, 2007 in Bunch, OK at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 4 days.
Betty married the love of her life Ferell Longshore on July 11, 1952 and to this union 4 children were born; Mike, Rosemary, Connie and Tammy. She loved spending time with her family, crocheting and going to church.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings; Wilson Ford, Orville Ford, Ed Ford, Herbert Ford, Cora Ford, Nadine Ford, Ray Ford, Melvin Ford and Benny Ford.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of over 55 years; Ferell Longshore of the home in Bunch, OK, 1 son; Mike Longshore and wife Robyn of Stilwell, OK, 3 daughters; Rosemary Hardbarger and husband Donnie of Bunch, OK, Connie Louise Hunt and husband Tim of Stilwell, OK, Tammy Sue Eubanks and husband Billy of Bunch, OK, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother; Myrl Ford of Owasso, OK, 1 sister; Lorene Pitts of Tulsa, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Don Waldrop officiating.
Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
