Bertie Elizabeth Littlejohn, the daughter of Francis Clifford and Bertha Josephine (Mann) Weaver, was born January 22, 1939, in Hopewell, Virginia. She departed this life June 22, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years and five months.
On October 28, 1958, Bertie married Earl Ray Littlejohn in Hopewell and together they had four daughters, Karen, Cheryl, Wanda and Shannon.
Bertie was a homemaker and enjoyed her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking as well as arts and crafts. She was a member of the Noel Chapel Church of Christ.
Those who preceded her in death include; her parents; her husband, Earl Ray Littlejohn, on September 8, 2001; and one brother, Roy Weaver.
She leaves to cherish her memory; four daughters, Karen Sykes and John Petree, of Stilwell, Cheryl and Kyle Huggins, of Tahlequah, Wanda and Isam Hamad, of Amman, Jordan, Shannon and Sam Scraper, of Neosho, MO; one brother, Sonny and Jean Weaver, of Hopewell, VA; three sisters, Phyllis and Vaughn Reish, of Colonial Heights, VA, Evelyn and David Warren, of Claremont, VA, Linda and James Hoover, of Chester, VA; five step-sisters and one step-brother; sisters-in-law, Lottie Dot Cain and Dovie Mae Littlejohn, of Stilwell; one brother-in-law, Dewayne and Goldie Littlejohn, of Stilwell; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Stilwell City Cemetery with Jim Walker officiating. Burial is under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
