Juanita Sue Lewis the daughter of Roy and Frances (Gibbs) Miles was born March 14, 1952, in Porterville, California and departed this life on March 28, 2021, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years and 14 days.


Juanita loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him in her community. She was very good at cake decorating and loved pouring love into the cakes she made for everyone around. She read her Bible daily and enjoyed going to church. She was a member of the Christian Worship Center and she loved her church family. She enjoyed listening to Joyce Meyer. Juanita touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Roy Miles Jr., Danny Miles, and Harvey Kesterson and son-in-law Matthew VanZandt.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband John Lewis of the home; her son Steven Marshall and wife Ronda of Colt, Arkansas; her daughter Christina VanZandt of Stilwell; and her sister Linda Newall and husband Richard of Zanesville, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.

Graveside Service was held 10:00 am, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
