Darryl Lockard
July 9, 1937-October 21, 2007
Darryl Lockard, son of Earl George and Wilkie Jane (Francis) Lockard, was born July 9, 1937 in Mena, Arkansas, and departed this life on October 21, 2007 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 12 days.
After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in education with a minor in industrial arts, he taught in the Stilwell Area, Puerto Rico, and New Mexico.
He married Janice W. Ray on August 18, 1957, and to this union three daughters were born; Rebecca Michelle, Melissa Kay and Darrylyn.
Darryl, along with his dog and ranch manager "Pete", operated Lockard Farms in Stilwell.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents; Earl George and Wilkie Jane Lockard.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of more than 50 years, Janice, three daughters; Rebecca Michelle Clark and husband Steve of Falcon, NC, Melissa Kay Pianalto and husband Danny of Tontitown, AR, Darrlyn G. Lockard Webb and husband Brett of Wichita, KS, two grandchildren; Sarah Brittany Clark and Benjamin Tylan Lockard Clark of Falcon, NC, one sister; Mary Francis Combs and husband Melvin C., of Oklahoma City, OK., one nephew; Max Clay Combs of Madill, OK., two nieces; Karla Jane Combs of Oklahoma City, OK., Cheri Ann Combs of Grapevine, TX., one sister in law; Irene (Ray) Gangluff and Husband Rudy of North Little Rock, AR., one brother in law; Beverly Neil Ray and wife Helen of Katy, TX., several other relatives and many many friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in the Roberts/Reed-culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hubert Sponsler and Rev. Mack Crittenden officiating.
Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
