Wilburn Farris Hensley (Teed) was born April 27, 1942, to George W. Hensley and Juanita Pruitt Hensley in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He departed this life March 26, 2013, at home in Stilwell, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years, 11 months 1 day.
He married Ruby Smith on May 18, 1963, and to this union two daughters, Alisia Carlette and Yolandra Joan (Joni) were born.
He married Glenda Dearman on November 16, 1990 and they were united in marriage for 22 years.
He worked for the Oklahoma department highways as a surveyor from 1962-1973.
Teed worked for Baldor Electric from 1977 until retirement, and continued his education by getting his certificate for real estate sales associate, and a certificate for small engine repair.
He was a member of the Stilwell Church of Christ. He had a love for gardening, fishing and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Alisia Hensley.
His surviving family members include his wife, Glenda, of the home; daughter and son-in-law Yolandra Joan Hensley and Alex Garcia, of Albuquerque New Mexico; stepchildren, David Mast, of Bakersfield California and Wendy Martinez, of Stilwell, Oklahoma; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Walter Hensley and Glenna Lee Hensley, of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Darrell Hensley, of Stilwell, one sister and brother-in-law, Sue Gerbitz and Tyrone Gerbitz of Owasso Oklahoma; brother-in-law, John Dearman and wife, Sue of Springdale AR; three step grandchildren, Courtney Greiner, Chad Martinez and Madison Burkhalter. Many cousins and friends also survive him.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Stilwell City Cemetery with Joe Smith officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
